Owls are neutral birds which are commonly found in taiga and forests at night time. They aren't afraid of the player and hit them on contact. When they are stationary, they fold their wings.
Their behaviour is that of every Bird.
Species[]
Owls come in 2 different species. The owl spawns as a Wood Owl unless there is snow nearby, then it will spawn as a Snow Owl. So the player can get Snow Owls to spawn by placing snow around their house in forests.
Taming[]
Taming is the same as the original Bird taming method. The owl requires Mouse items to be tamed. They fit in Bird Cages and can mount Perchs when tamed. Momentarily, they will barf out string and bones for the player to collect.
