Salamanders are passive nether creatures that add a new atmosphere to the Nether. They drop Salamander Slimes that can be used for the Spear of Fire or as a replacement for the normal Slimeball. It is similar to animals in its behaviour, because it is breedable. Players can start a Salamander farm in the Nether.
